My Summer Vacation

*****Aug 14: I think the photos are finally fixed**********

Well, it's been a long time since I posted and there's lots to tell. I went on my first road trip! We spent 3 weeks and drove to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. I also went to the United States for the first time, and stayed in hotels! Mommy & Daddy were very happy because I turned out to be a good traveller!

Here we are stopping for lunch in New York state.

Here I am in one of our hotel rooms - this is the biggest bed I've ever seen!!

We travelled for 3 days and on the 4th day, we arrived at Grampa's house. I had fun visiting Grampa - there were lots of things to look at and discover in his house. He has a big tin full of toys and a dog! I liked to go up to the dog and sniff just like the dog does.

On July 1st, we went to Mommy's friend Joann's wedding. Mommy was her Matron of Honor. I had lots of fun at the wedding playing with Joann's niece and nephew Bryanna and Joshua. During dinner, I was giving out kisses to Mommy and Daddy. I would smack my lips and lean over for a kiss. Joann was at the table talking to her and Mommy's friend Sheryl, and I decided I wanted to give her a kiss. I smacked my lips and pointed to her, so she came over and gave me a kiss. Everyone thought I was pretty cute.

Here's a picture of me with Mommy and Joann. Doesn't Joann look beautiful? I was pretty tired.

After the wedding, we went back to Grampa's for another night and then headed off to Gramma's cottage. I had lots of fun playing in the gravel on her driveway and on the beach. Here's a pic of me ready to go to the beach:

and here's one of me with Gramma:

While we were at Gramma's, we received word that my Aunt Michelle had her baby. She was in the hospital for 10 weeks with complications to her pregnancy. She finally had Aidan 5 weeks early. We headed to their place in Oromocto, NB a couple of days later, and were able to see little Aidan in the hospital. This is a picture of him when he was 2 days old:

We stayed there for a few days, and I had loads of fun playing with my cousin Melissa. The weather was hot, so we spent lots of time playing in her pool. Here's a picture of Melissa and me in her pool:

Finally, it was time to head home. We travelled for three days again, and finally arrived back in Toronto. On the way home, we stopped to pick up Mojo (parrot) and Scratchy (cat) at their vets' where they were staying, and finally home where Itchy (cat) was waiting for us. We had fun on our travels, but it was good to be home.
